Jeffrey was simply the most amazing carpenter I have ever come across. He can think through any problem and come up with a variety of solutions to match your price point. His work is exceptionally high quality. His price is also beyond reasonable. For example, I had two different estimates of close to $2,000 to replace the plinths under the exterior porch columns. Jeff did it for about $400. One of the other things that really I appreciate about the way he works, is that he is methodical and tidy. At the end of each day, in fact during the day, he kept the work area completely usable. No sawdust, no mess left around. He came up with ingenious solutions to the problems of my sliding interior pocket doors, which have not opened for 20+ years. He took the woodwork apart, did not damage anything and had them working smoothly in a day and a half. I appreciate that he was willing to talk through possible solutions to various projects and was not at all interested in just making work for himself. All in all I will finish by saying he is highly recommended.

Built two sets of new exterior staircases, for my Victorian home in Brookline. Matched all the details on rails, balusters, posts and used the best quality materials. Replaced the plinths at the bottoms of 5 columns, of the front porch, main entry. Changed the swing of main entry door to open outward, instead of in. Repaired three mammoth sliding doors inside the interior foyer.
